Articulated Icons: Forging the Myth and Three New Figures!

The Fwoosh posted another awesome diostory, Articulated Icons: Forging the Myth, and revealed three more stretch goal figures!

Seijun (drunken master)

Here’s Seijun (drunken master and my personal favorite; it has nothing to do with the drunken part, my alcoholism is totally under control. Stop judging me and check out the pics…)
A proud warrior who fought in countless battles, Seijun was savagely injured and left for dead when he and his fellow band of warriors were ambushed by a ninja clan. Seijun awoke long after the battle in a field overrun with the corpses of both friends and enemies, clutching the ninja leader’s mask in his hand. Unable to cope with the loss of his fellow warriors and no longer able to trust his skills, Seijun turned to the bottle. He soon found that he was a superior fighter when under the influence, and that he finally remembered the face of the ninja leader. As Seijun began hunting the ninja who had ruined his life, this warrior monk’s drunken style made him an unpredictable and unusual opponent to all who faced him.

Seijun (Samurai Outlaw)

Seijun (drunken master)’s story doesn’t end there. Meet Seijun (samurai outlaw)!
Seijun‘s days had become a meaningless blur of drinking and fighting as he searched for the leader of the ninja clan that had killed his brothers and ruined his life. If there had once been nobility in him, it was slowly being eaten away. His travels had taken him to Edo, where he never lacked for fight or drink. Fortune smiled on him one day as a trio of the Shogun’s elite samurai walked past him as he lay curled up after a night of hard drinking. His hazy mind flashed back to the battle that had changed his life and the face under the ninja leader’s mask — the face of the samurai before him! Seijun left behind the bottle for samurai armor, and he began a one-man campaign of revenge against the samurai and those who employed him. His campaign of vengeance quickly made him one of the most wanted men alive as assassins, mercenaries, and bounty hunters began hunting for him. Seijun found the skills necessary to stay alive.

Surai (samurai warlord)

Meet Surai (samurai warlord) *AKA the seemingly murdered Master of the Ninja Clan!
A hard man with a twisted code of honor, Surai caught the Shogun’s attention as he single-handedly fought off several shadowy attackers, saving the Shogun’s life. Impressed, the Shogun instantly elevated him to samurai status, and Surai became the Shogun’s favorite. He was given a permanent position as one of the Shogun’s elite bodyguards. The Shogun tasked Surai with eliminating the threat of the ninja, whose assassination attempts were growing ever bolder. Surai enjoyed the benefits of his newfound position. Never lacking for money, women, or power, Surai became the Shogun’s most trusted confidante, all the while pursuing his true goal of revenge against those who betrayed the seemingly murdered Master of the Ninja Clan!

So be sure to stop by the Articulated Icons: The Feudal Series Kickstarter campaign, and contribute if you want to see these awesome figures in plastic!  You know you want to!  There’s only 6 days left so contribute now!
