First up, Netho shared the brilliant image that we used for our story – The image is that of the cover for the special oversized G.I.Joe A Real American Hero #250. This issue boasts 40 pages and is the conclusion of the “Dawn of the Arashikage” storyline.

The awesome didn’t stop there though! Tom then shared a panel from G.I.Joe A Real American Hero #248, noting that the issue has been sent to the printer! This is a special “silent issue” and sure to be another classic, just like issue #21. Check it out –

Netho Diaz Shares IDW Publishing’s G.I.Joe A Real American Hero 248 Opening Scene

Netho Diaz has been doing an amazing job keeping fans of G.I.Joe excited through his shares of artwork on his Twitter account. Today was absolutely no different, as the “Mic Drop” came about 2 hours ago as Netho shared the opening scene from G.I.Joe #248!

The scene shows Dawn Moreno with Uzis in hand, the bodies of her fallen Red Ninja foe around her, Arshikage banner tattered in the background. What really sticks out to me the most about this piece is that it’s “so Snake Eyes”, yet is uniquely Dawn…which is fitting of the character, no?

Don’t forget, Issue #248 is a silent issue which just increases the level of awesome tenfold. Are you excited to add this issue to your collection? Get in on the discussion already in progress on the Cobra Island Forums!
