Our friend Kit Lau has shared a rather exciting image on the Official Acid Rain World Instagram Page. Let’s take a trip in the way back machine to give you a bit of background – Years ago, when Acid Rain first popped up on the scene, Kit Lau’s Skronex Website shared images of an Acid Rain vehicle that had fans drooling. The vehicle was named the Chapel and served as a rolling HQ of sorts for your Acid Rain team. It also had the ability to haul a Stronghold in tow, making it that much cooler. This 1:18 scale vehicle never did come out which had many of us hopeful that one day it would. For those unfamiliar with the Chapel, the following images are what were shared on the Skronex site.
Fast forward to the somewhat present: Through Kit’s partnership with Beaver, we were introduced to a new Acid Rain scale, the B2.Five (for 2.5″) offerings, with word that the Chapel would finally be released in this more price effective scale. Early this morning, that word was turned in to visual proof, as a test shot of the Chapel was shared!
I know I speak for many when I say FINALLY! I can’t wait to add this awesome Acid Rain offering to my collection! What say you? Excited to see the Chapel, or is it a pass? Sound off in our Acid Rain Discussion Thread on the Cobra Island Forums!
