First and foremost, the team at DCS apologized for the late response; They’ve been tied up at the Factory where the figures are being manufactured.
Next, there are still over 100 people who have not yet completed their survey. The DCS team cannot help with your order if you do not respond. To those that fall in to this category, a message has been sent via Kickstarter message and/or e-mail. There are some backers that haven’t logged in to the backport system, whereas there are others that have logged in, but have not completed the survey. Please do so ASAP.
While on the topic of the survey, BACKPORT has is reopened; Two new functions were added into system:
Address changing request
“Survey is Done” status —> can be checked in system
Please note: All backers must complete the survey before April 30, 2018. This is the last chance to do the survey and add on any items. If backers still do not complete the survey before April 30, 2018, Dream Concept Studio cannot send your items on time. Your order will be pushed to the end of the shipment cycle, as the delivery process should be smoothly.

Wow! It’s hard to believe its been 8 months since the Kickstarter ended. We want the tribe to know that we have literally been working nights, weekends and weeknights to make production go as smoothly as possible.
We want to thank all of you and our amazing factory who was able to get the shipment out before the start of the Chinese New Year which would have delayed delivery another month.
Are the figures on there way to me?
Not just yet. We still have to go through the entire shipment and inventory and double check everyone’s mailing address. Sending out your rewards will take 2 to 3 weeks as we gather shipping material, boxes, postage, etc.
Thank you for your patience and in the meantime check out these photos I took. Sorry for the poor quality, Brandon will take better packaging photos in the next week or so.
Online store now taking pre-orders!
Some of you may have noticed that the Backerkit store is now closed but fear not! The official online store is now open and we are taking pre-orders. These will be processed and shipped with the Kickstarter rewards. Check it out at sperotoys.com

G.I. Joe® is one of the most recognizable and well known action figure lines in history, yet there is no full story showing the creation process of the G.I. Joe®: A Real American Hero™ brand that ran from 1982-1994.
The release of “3.75 Inch Joe: The Special Forces Team that forged an American Hero” book series, Volume 5! The fifth book in the series, “3.75 Inch Joe: The Special Forces Team that forged an American Hero (Volume 5)” is an 80 page, 9”X10” library of designs and stories ranging from 1982-1994, including some unproduced concepts! This fully colored book will be printed on 100# paper in a Soft Perfect Bind format with a visible spine like a graphic novel. Although there have been many books written about G.I. Joe®, what makes “3.75 Inch Joe: The Special Forces Team that forged an American Hero” series unique is the fact that the information shared within the book comes from exclusive interviews with former employees who worked on the G.I. Joe® brand. Some of the things to expect include:
The inspiration and influences behind the different figures and vehicles straight from the designers’ point of view…
Alternate names for figures and vehicles pulled from Larry Hama’s dossiers or from the original concepts themselves…
Insider stories from former employees ranging from Marketing to Engineering regarding the changes that occurred during the design process…
Conceptual designs and photographs that will show the progression and different stages of creating a figure or vehicle. This includes concept pencils and inks, sculpture sheets, color studies, color presentation art, models, and much much more!
